LINEHAUL DISPATCHER (full-time summer & holiday/part-time university position)
Junior management role which required organisation of the moving of freight with respect to transportation lines, terminal load factors and driver bid runs. This movement was executed via telephone, email, spreadsheet and online database communications. Trouble shooting for terminal, customer service, and management teams was also a responsibility. Additional administrative tasks included various reports, filing and database entry.
